We asked the community if they thought there were too many unsolved murders in the area. The feedback was astounding.

What is the purpose of digging deeper into unsolved murder cases?

- It helps the family to know that people still care enough to do something

- It helps the police and investigators because they are often overloaded and under resourced.

In a national survey sent out to more than 5000 police departments, only 40 reported having any kind of organized Cold Case division.

- It helps the community come together to help each other do what's right and to speak up about important issues

Too many times witnesses don't say anything because they are either afraid or don't think anything they say would help. It's not like that online. People do say something, and do seem to want to do the right thing many times.
